This programme develops participant capability from commissioning awareness to independent execution within live mission-critical environments.
The training focuses on CxAlloy workflow management, L1–L3 verification activities, technical reporting, defect management, and commissioning documentation, while building practical competency in equipment validation, handover readiness, and later-stage operational testing activities.
Course Aim
To develop participants from commissioning awareness into active, independent commissioning application — enabling them to produce commissioning documentation, write and manage test scripts, complete the full L1–L3 sequence on live equipment independently, and understand the client requirements and acceptance phase activities that define the quality standard.
Course Objectives
Participants will develop the ability to independently manage commissioning activities within CxAlloy, including checklist completion, document control, and multi-asset tag tracking across different commissioning stages. The programme covers L1, L2, and L3 commissioning processes, FAT, QA/QC, and SAT test script development, pass/fail management, IRL escalation procedures, and advanced electrical testing methods. Participants will also explore handover requirements, OPR and SLA interpretation, and the operational requirements of L4 FPT and L5 IST phases while completing practical QA/QC and SAT exercises within a live training environment.
Learning Outcomes
1. Independently manage the full L1–L3 commissioning sequence for multiple concurrent assets using CxAlloy.
2. Write complete, Keldin-standard test scripts for L1 FAT, L2 QA/QC and L3 SAT from a project brief.
3. Correctly apply pass/fail criteria, record failures, raise IRL issues and manage the IRL to closure.
4. Execute the full L2 QA/QC to Green Tag sequence on the training rig independently with no trainer guidance.
5. Manage the H2C pre-requisite checklist and identify what is required before CXA can accept handover.
6. Extract commissioning requirements from an OPR and apply them to test script pass/fail criteria.
7. Describe the L4 FPT daily programme structure and produce a compliant Daily Commissioning Report.
8. Conduct root cause analysis on commissioning quality failures and write formal corrective action entries.
9. Explain the pathway to the Advanced Course and the competencies required for the CXA and senior GC roles.
